I'm here to help you find the right words to represent you, your brand, and your story. After earning a degree in creative writing, I spent six years working for a global ministry as an in-house copywriter and editor. While there I worked on marketing emails, web content, newsletters, curriculum, ebooks, content marketing and more. During that time I began editing and ghostwriting full-length books and have spent the past 9 years as a freelance writer and editor, focusing on blog posts, articles, content marketing, and ghostwriting. My experience has taught me the importance of creating content that expresses the voice of the client. You have something important to communicate to your audience, and I want to help you discover the best way to share your ideas with the world.
I'm a programmer and writer; I've worked as a software developer at MIT and I have a BA in history from Yale. When I write I generally combine these interests by focusing on tech, business, and financial writing.

My mother was an English teacher and loved puns, so wordplay has been part of my life as long as I can remember. I loved both reading and writing, but when I discovered science fiction my interests shifted to technology. I received my undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and an M.S. in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I put my skills to use as a software developer and project manager for a defense consulting firm, a major telecommunications company, and one of the largest financial institutions in the United States. I never stopped playing with words during my programming years. I wrote short stories and scripts in my spare time, collecting rejection slips and a few published credits along the way. Today, I focus on delivering documents that communicate my clients’ message. I apply my hands-on experience to writing with authority about technology, and my travels form the basis for my travel writing, another specialty.
