How to create long-term relationships with Small businesses clients on Scripted

Many Scripted writers develop long-term relationships with clients. We've found that the key to sustaining these relationships and getting offered more writer jobs is communication. For example, when you respond to the latest job alert and claim a project, include a personal note in your pitch. This will show the client that you're interested in more than just landing the job - you're also interested in developing a relationship.

Another way to build relationships with Small businesses clients is to ask for feedback on your work. After completing a project, reach out to the client and ask if they have any input. This shows that you're interested in improving your work, allowing the client to give you specific direction for future projects.

It's essential to keep your client updated on your progress and to be available to answer any questions they may have. Additionally, you should consistently deliver high-quality work that meets or exceeds their expectations.

The Benefit of SmartMatch for Small businesses writers on Scripted

Once you have been accepted as a freelance writer on Scripted, you can search for jobs and easily apply to jobs on the platform.

However, with SmartMatch, there is no need to apply for jobs because the platform sends projects to a pool of qualified writers. Scripted then sends a job alert detailing the job title, pay rate, company details, and project specifications. If you want to accept the latest job alert, click "start job" and get to work.

This system saves you time, but it also allows you to focus on writing quality content rather than worrying about being selected for a project.

Set Prices Your Knowledge and Experience Deserve

When you pitch an idea on Scripted, you get to set a price that you believe is fair to the client and your experience. Clients can even send you an additional tip to reward you for excellent work.

Every project has a minimum price that ensures writers get paid a fair amount. You always control how much you charge, but the minimum prevents writers from drastically undercutting each other for jobs.
