TempDev is an EPM and EHR consulting firm that provides NextGen financial, clinical, and technical solutions for organizations in the healthcare space. Before working with Scripted, TempDev struggled to generate organic traffic from search engines. The company also lacked domain authority and brand visibility. With our expertise and experience, we developed a bespoke content strategy for TempDev based on its service offerings. This strategy incorporated every stage of the buyer's journey and included glossary and landing pages about the company's products and services.

Challenge

TempDev struggled to generate organic traffic because of a lack of domain authority — how successful a website is on search engine results pages. Unable to generate traffic to its pages from search engines, the company couldn't communicate with its target audience or increase online visibility. TempDev's overall content strategy was also lacking. For example, its CEO wrote all of the company's blog posts.

Strategy

Scripted started from scratch and developed a holistic content strategy for TempDev based on cold, hard data. Here are some of the ways we helped:

Keyword research and review

We reviewed the keywords TempDev ranked for and carried out a competitive analysis. That helped us discover the most lucrative keywords for its content strategy. 

Finding the right content

TempDev has a niche audience that requires high-quality content about various healthcare management topics. We researched the content types that resonate with this demographic, such as social media posts and landing pages. Although TempDev already had these content types on its online properties, we encouraged them to create additional articles that moved prospects through its sales and marketing funnels. 

Engaging content

Our subject matter experts created engaging content that was not only educational but entertaining and shareable. That helped TempDev increase its brand reach and target more prospective customers. 

Glossary

EPM, EHR, and NextGen are complicated concepts that require explanation. After analyzing its website, we felt TempDev's audience needed more context about its service offerings. So we created a glossary that included definitions for product features such as "bidirectional interface" and "information governance." This glossary is a reference point for potential clients interested in TempDev's solutions.

Our new content strategy led to incredible organic traffic growth for TempDev. The company's traffic skyrocketed from 3.4K in 2022 to 23.5K in 2023. That's an increase of +589%. Implementing a glossary page was particularly successful for TempDev. By July 2023, glossary entries had generated 13.1K visits.
