How to Use Facebook Effectively to Attract Customers

If you want to reach the maximum number of customers, you'll need a Facebook page full of interesting content. Your Facebook page not only advertises your business, but also allows potential customers to interact with you. If you write engaging, original posts, both new and existing customers will be excited about interacting with you, which makes them more likely to buy from your business. Writing good Facebook posts is an art form; if you don't have the time or inclination to do it yourself, you should consider hiring freelance writers to do it for you.

Put up photos of your business and your employees. Customers like to know who they're interacting with. When you post photos, don't forget the caption. Interesting, engaging captions encourage interaction as well as make you appear more human to your customers.

Use the timeline feature to post about milestones. Facebook now features a timeline, which allows you to post about important events that happened on particular dates. Use this feature to tell the "story" of your business so that customers can see your history, values and dedication to customer service. This feature allows you to take content marketing to another level by creating an online brochure or presentation about your business that customers can scroll through.

Post links to articles of interest. You can post links to your website, of course, but try not to use your page exclusively as an advertisement. Instead, post information that would be of interest to your customers, such as other articles about topics related to your business. For example, if you are an auto repair business, you might post links to blogs about the latest tires or about how to maintain your car during the winter months.

Ask your customers questions. Use your Facebook page to start conversations with your customers about things related to your business. This allows your customers to feel important, gives you valuable feedback about what your customers' needs are and helps stimulate interaction.

Let customers know about new products, sales and other important aspects of your business. Although most of your Facebook page should be focused on your customers, you can and should also use it to make important announcements. If you are having a sale, you can announce it using the Events feature. You can also use your status updates to announce new products or provide other news.

As you can see, there are an infinite number of ways to use Facebook to promote your business. If you aren't familiar with Facebook or this type of writing isn't natural to you, why not use one of our freelance writers to write a few Facebook posts for you while you're taking care of the running your business?
