Los Angeles is the most popular city in California. It is a popular vacation center known for its vibrant film and theatre industry. It comes second after New York in terms of popularity in the U.S. The U.S. Census Bureau estimates LA's metro area population at twelve million people. Aside from the video production prowess, the city is popular for its ethnic diversity.
Los Angeles is a striking tourist attraction and has beautiful sandy beaches, concert halls, and amazing parks. The following are three places you can visit in LA.
1. Griffith Park
Griffith Park is an urban wilderness area considered one of the largest municipal parks in the United States. It has a botanical garden making it kids friendly. The park is famous for the Sunset Ranch, which offers a ton of activities such as horseback riding and hiking with children.
Further, the park has smooth pavements that are perfect for bicycle riding. You can rent a bicycle and ride around the park. The Bronson Cave, in the park, is a good play place for the kids.
2. The TLC Chinese Theatre
This coruscating Theatre is one of the most popular sites in Hollywood. It's the perfect place to have a thrilling silver screen experience on the momentous Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6925 Hollywood Blvd. Originally, it was known as Grauman's Chinese Theatre, but the name was later changed to TCL Chinese Theatre in 2013.
This working theatre showcases freshly released films all year through. The area around the theatre is ideal for strolling. You can walk around and get a look at handprints and signatures left by some of your favorite movie stars. The theatre is a good sightseeing spot.
3. The Iconic Hollywood Sign
The Hollywood Sign is a cultural icon in Los Angeles, California. You might have seen it in many Hollywood films you've watched. It is a great historical sign, and you shouldn't leave Los Angeles without seeing it and at least taking a picture to show off to your friends.
The best place to view the Hollywood Sign is from Griffith Park. Some people, however, view it from the top of the Home Depot parking garage on Sunset Boulevard. It takes roughly two to three hours to hike to the Hollywood sign.
