I recently moved to a small town for a slower life and more time to write. So far, it's proved to be a phenomenal change. I have written more, in terms of word count, in four weeks than I did in the year prior. This is a huge blessing for my motivation to keep going. Being a writer, of little to moderate success, can be daunting and hard most days. Imagine going to work every day knowing you are doing your best, but not being sure whether anyone will notice or pay you, for that matter. Here in my small town, I've written a new Christmas short, What if…this Christmas that will be a part of the Christmas on Main Street Boxed Set. I am proud to be a part of this group of supportive and wonderful writers; and really excited for everyone to have the chance to get a great deal on ten Christmas stories. I can't wait to read them all myself! I am also working on my next full length piece, two of them actually. Both of which I am very pleased with and excited to bring to life. It's amazing what a little fresh air and clear night skies can do for a persons soul. Every night I look up at the sky and I can see every star out there ( at least it seems so :) ) and I am so grateful for this life, for my writing and for the drive that just won't let me dear until my goals are met!! I heard a great line recently 'leap big and a net will find you!' Here I go, LEAPING….
