This eventually led to a four year run as staff writer, Faith& Family editor, managing editor and, ultimately, executive editor for Metro Leader, a family of eight hyper-local newspapers throughout Louisiana and Texas. Since the recent closure of Metro Leader, Scott is currently working on a novel and resuming full-time freelance work.
