Ten years ago, following a rewarding run in ministry and working with at-risk youth, Scott embarked on a freelance writing career. He soon branched into editing. This eventually led to a four year run as staff writer, Faith& Family editor, managing editor and, ultimately, executive editor for Metro Leader, a family of eight hyper-local newspapers throughout Louisiana and Texas.
