Richfield Reviews - Woodlake Nature Center

I will be giving you a firsthand look into what to expect when visiting The Woodlake Nature Center. When you first arrive at the park you will notice that the area is absolutely beautiful, filled with a ton of wild life and budding trees and it is directly in the heart of Richfield making it extremely easy to find. THE WOODLAKE NATURE CENTER EXPERIENCE I absolutely love being outdoors and the Woodlake Nature Center was the perfect way to spend a great spring day outside. The center includes a resource building in which you can go in and learn more about the center, animals in the area, and even pet live animals like snakes and turtles. Outside of the building the park contains walking trails that circle through the woods and follow right along a lake. The walk was incredible, we saw a ton of wildlife up close, including; ducks, geese, turtles, numerous small birds, and much more. There obviously was also an abundance of nature, including massive trees, budding flowers, and much more. As the weather warms up it is time to grab the family and get outside, and the nature center is the perfect place for the entire family! The center is ideal for a romantic date idea, taking a stroll around the lake, or just casually hanging out with the kiddos for an entire day outside. OTHER NOTES Some other things you can expect on your visit is a lot of walking, so be sure that you wear comfortable shoes that will allow you to walk all of the trails. I definitely would also suggest grabbing your camera as you will find that the area is gorgeous and makes for the perfect family photo opportunity.
