In this edition of Richfield Reviews I will be giving you a glimpse into my experience at Lyn65. When you first enter this restaurant you will immediately notice the décor as the hostess station is actually an old radio, which was awesome! Lyn65 believes in only serving menu items that are made fresh and from scratch, which is a refreshing change from a number of popular restaurants. MY LYN65 EXPERIENCE I have nothing but incredible things to say about this place, I was completely blown away by the entire experience. When I first arrived I was greeted by an extremely friendly hostess who sat me at the bar. The bartender acknowledged me right away and I asked him for recommendations on cocktails. He quickly recommended one and went on to make it. I was stunned by the time, care, and energy that went into making my drink, as my drink took at least 5 minutes to prepare. The drink was a spin off on a whiskey sour, and I normally do not like whiskey at all. However, this cocktail did not taste like there was any alcohol in it! It was sweet, tart, and tasty! I also ordered a quinoa salad on my visit which was packed with fresh ingredients and tasted delicious. It was a cold salad loaded with a ton of great veggies. While I enjoyed my salad I again asked the bartender to recommend another cocktail and he made me a drink that was somewhat like a gimlet. The bartender once again put a ton of care into preparing my drink and it showed, the drink was beautiful and tasted amazing. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT LYN65 Overall, this is just an awesome place to stop in for some great food and amazing cocktails. Not only are their drinks great, but they have a full bar and rotating craft beers. The ambiance at this restaurant is an old-timey, swanky vibe. I loved every single thing about Lyn65 and will definitely be back soon and I highly recommend you visit soon as well! Also, I would say it is a good idea to make a reservation as the place usually is packed.
