I have been writing my entire life, professionally and for personal enjoyment. I have experience in a wide variety of writing, creative and marketing roles, including as a social media manager for multiple clients at a time, a blogger for a lovely B&B on a beautiful Pacific Northwest Island, and a staff writer at one of the best newspapers in the country, the Tampa Bay Times (formerly St. Petersburg Times, winner of 12 Pulitzer prizes). I've managed to stay writing while pursuing my other dream as a whale-watching captain; I'm currently loving my third summer on the seas in Juneau, Alaska, surrounded by the world's most beautiful scenery and wildlife.
