I hold a Ph.D. in mass communication and journalism from The University of Southern Mississippi. I am an accomplished writer, teacher, educator and broadcaster. I was a nationally syndicated radio host of The Alison Slade Show, a conservative political broadcast, from 2009-2013. I have published three academic anthologies and I am working on a fourth book now. I also write humor and satire.
