Alexandra Henkoff

I'm an experienced educator with special expertise in college admissions, but I write about almost anything that isn't heavily math or science related, and have been a professional freelance writer since 2004, including ghostwriting and research/writing assistance on dozens of published articles in academic journals, blogs, books, and more. I'm also a teacher with a wide range of experience with students of all ages, from early childhood to adult--I'm certified to teach all grades through high school in multiple subjects and multiple states. When I'm no writing, I currently work as a college admissions consultant, and my clients have been accepted to and excelled at some of the most selective schools in the world. Publication credits include material for The Princeton Review (focused on test preparation) and poetry. Fun fact: I'm also a Jeopardy! champion!
