Ahmad Maksoud

Ahmad Maksoud is a New York based actor, writer, and coach. He grew up in the suburbs of Boston to Egyptian-born parents, dividing his cultural experience between the sultry and slow Alexandrian summers with the square, but pleasant reality of New England suburbia. As an artist, Ahmad pursues the exploration of work that primarily addresses themes of identity. Much of his personal and artistic growth stems from the constant exploration of what it means to carry two, often conflicting cultures at once. He seeks to communicate from the broad perspective of struggling with a fractured sense of self. He is intrigued by art that tackles the question, "where do I belong."
