Simon Brooke

Simon Brooke is an award winning writer, journalist, editor, content producer and speechwriter who has worked with organisations around the world for over 20 years to support and develop their written communications. He writes website copy, content, brochures, advertorials and speeches for a wide variety of organisations. His copywriting clients include John Lewis, Steinway pianos, Hilton Hotels, Schneider Electric Company, Mitsubishi, Scottish Widows, BT, American Express, the NHS, HSBC, EY, KPMG, IBM, 3i and The Macallan whisky. Simon has extensive experience in the creation of highly readable, compelling journalism that supports marketing messages. He is an expert in the art of developing feature ideas and articles that engage and retain the attention of target audiences while subtly promoting clients’ key messages and brand values. As well as having a crisp, journalistic style which can be adapted to any readership Simon includes psychological persuasion techniques in his writing. He has edited supplements for The Times and magazines for John Lewis, BlackRock (the world’s largest asset manager) Forte Village (an Italian holiday centre), FlyVictor (a private jet marketplace) and VinciWorks (a legal training group). Simon started his career in public relations, working for an agency in the City of London and then for WH Smith where he developed practical experience of working closely with clients and handling their needs and expectations. Simon is the author of three novels and a management book Be Bulletproof – How to Achieve Success in Tough Times at Work, published by Random House.
