Megan Herr

I am a 25-year-old bookworm and old soul living in Baton Rouge. I fell in love with words at a young age and always dreamed of having a career writing in some capacity. After graduating from Penn State University in 2013, I began my career writing for The Record Herald newspaper in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. As a reporter, I enjoyed being able to meet people from all walks of life and loved working with them to tell their story. I just recently moved to Baton Rouge and as someone who is very creative at heart, I am looking to branch out into other areas of writing. While I have covered a lot of news articles in the past couple years, I also wrote many features and editorials, both of which I am very passionate about.
