I am a young graduated with a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from the University of Aveiro that looks for an opportunity to integrate an industrial experienced team, in the way to apply my four years of academic research know-how in an industrial context. During my academic journey, I did research in the bioprocess field. In my degree project, I investigated the biodetoxification of a pulp industry by-product by a filamentous fungus. In its turn, in my master’s thesis, I worked with a 5 L bioreactor to develop an aeration strategy that improved the bioethanol production from the pulp industry by-product by a pentose fermenting yeast.
