New York City is nothing if not a fascinating city that draws hundreds of thousands of tourists a day. While there is certainly no shortage of things to do on a cultural level – shopping, museums and restaurants abound – the savvier traveler will want to explore the seven-tallest skyscrapers in New York City before continuing on to other cultural attractions. Here, then, is a list of the seven-tallest skyscrapers in New York City as well as some fun facts and figures about them.

Also known as the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) Expansion Tower is a building formerly known as Tower Verre. As of October 2018, it's under construction, so going to see it now will be a fascinating study in construction, especially in a city environment. At 1,050 feet, with the top floor located 950 feet above the ground, 53W53 is adjacent to the MoMA and is being developed by these real estate companies: Hines, Pontiac Group and Goldman Sachs.
