How to Stay Beautiful Despite the Demands of Freelance Writing

Contrary to popular belief, writing as a profession is far more complicated than it actually is. Yes, freelancers and content writers might have their own hours, but they have deadlines to meet and demanding editors to interact with. With that being said, since freelance writing jobs entail you to have a busy schedule, you have to sacrifice a few things; but that does not include your beauty regimen. Here are some tips for you to stay beautiful even under the stressful demands of freelance writing.

Tip #1: Organize and plan ahead.

Writers and bloggers may be few of the busiest people in the world but that does not mean that you don’t have time for other things anymore. The key to a stress-free life is to have a list or a calendar to follow. Get yourself a planner and write down the things that need to get done. Set a deadline for every task. You will see that you will have free time. So the next thing to do is to devote a fraction of that time to make yourself pretty.

Tip #2: Make time for sleep.

This is why you should properly manage your time. Do not drown yourself with too much work. Do not waste your time on the Internet. Losing sleep can cause a lot of problems. Not only will it cause pimples and premature aging, but lack of sleep may give you migraines, a weakened immune system and even writer’s block.

Tip #3: Minimize your caffeine intake and drink more water instead.

Caffeine is a diuretic, which means that it will make you lose more water than usual. Not only that, excessive intake of coffee and other caffeine-infused products will not make you awake at all. Instead, it will just make you more agitated. You will lose focus, which could potentially result in lost writing jobs in the future. You don’t want that to happen, do you? Instead, the best solution is to eat more nutritious foods like fruits and vegetables, take more supplements, and drink more water. A healthy mind and body will make you glow both on the inside and the outside.

Tip #4: Exercise.

The ugly truth is that stress can make you fat. One solution that experts guarantee results is the use of exercise. Simply taking a 30-minute walk around your neighborhood will do. Get yourself moving – aside from keeping you in shape, it will keep you positive as it stimulates endorphins (the happy hormones).

The key to staying beautiful while doing content writing is to simply avoid stress and maintain a positive outlook in life. Yes, you should be able to make more money, but that does not mean that you should stop taking care of yourself.
